THE ART ROOM is a backyard studio offering art instruction
to children ages 4-16 in Monroeville, Alabama. Students experience and enjoy the creative process while learning the
skills needed to create a work of art with pride. My goal is to help students achieve a balance between process and
product.
Emphasis is on small classes with strong individual attention.
With guidance students gain self-confidence as they explore and develop their artistic abilities. The
Art Room provides a positive and nurturing learning experience that encourages students to use their imaginations.
At the same time students begin to acquire an art vocabulary and are introduced to well known artists.
THE ART ROOM can provide Private Art
Lessons, after school programs at your school site or work with you to create a class for your children or a small group of
children.
THE ART ROOM also offers a Summer Art
Camp and Art Parties..the perfect Birthday celebration for the child who loves art!
